These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to practicetestbuilder.com and the purchase, download and use of products and services offered by Practice Test Builder, operated by Gurwinder Singh (“Practice Test Builder”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, have reached the age of legal majority in your location, or be acting through a parent, legal guardian or authorised organisation able to enter a binding contract. If you purchase for a business or institution, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
2. Products
We sell digital products, including the Practice Test Builder Pro WordPress plugin and pre-created practice-test bundles. The features, compatibility, permitted activations, update period, support period, bundle contents and other product-specific terms are those displayed on the applicable product page and order confirmation at the time of purchase.
We may improve, correct or update a product over time. We do not promise that every product will remain compatible with every future version of WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, browser, theme, third-party plugin or external service unless expressly stated.
3. Prices, currencies and taxes
Prices may be displayed or charged in Indian rupees (INR) or United States dollars (USD). Your bank or payment provider may apply conversion rates or fees. Applicable taxes and compulsory charges will be shown at checkout where required. International customers are responsible for taxes or reporting obligations imposed in their jurisdiction unless we are legally required to collect them.
We may change prices prospectively. A price change does not alter an already completed order.
4. Orders and payment
Payments are processed through Razorpay and its payment partners. An order is accepted after payment is successfully captured or otherwise confirmed and we issue an order confirmation. We may place an order under review, request reasonable verification, reject a transaction or cancel and refund an order where necessary to address suspected fraud, a pricing or technical error, legal restrictions or product unavailability.
You must provide accurate checkout and account information and keep your registered email address accessible. You authorise us and Razorpay to process the transaction and related data as described in our Privacy Policy and Razorpay’s applicable terms.
5. Digital delivery
All products are digital. No physical product is shipped. After successful payment, products are normally made available instantly through WooCommerce My Account and a download or order email is sent to your registered checkout email address. Security or payment review, incorrect account information, email filtering or technical events may delay delivery.

6. Pro plugin software licence
The Practice Test Builder Pro plugin states that its software code is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or any later version (“GPL-2.0-or-later”). Your rights to use, study, modify and redistribute code covered by that licence are governed by the GPL. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that the GPL grants for GPL-covered code.
Your purchase may also include commercial services and credentials that are separate from the GPL code, including:
- a confidential license key and a stated number of website activations;
- access to our update and secure download service;
- customer support for the period stated on the product page;
- access to your customer account and order downloads; and
- permission to use our services and product branding only as expressly stated.
These commercial services, license keys, support access and customer credentials are personal to the purchasing customer and may not be sold, transferred, published, shared or used to provide unauthorised update or support access to another person. The number of active domains and any validity period are the limits shown on the product page, checkout or order record. A multi-domain or unlimited-domain plan may be used on domains owned or controlled by the purchasing customer, subject to its stated terms.
License activation and update checks may transmit the license key, domain, plugin version and request IP address to practicetestbuilder.com. We use this information to validate eligibility, apply activation limits, prevent abuse and provide updates, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
7. Practice-test bundle licence
Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, a purchased pre-created test bundle is licensed—not sold—to the purchaser on a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable basis for use on websites owned or controlled by that purchaser. The purchaser may adapt the bundle for its own teaching, training or practice-test operations on its own domains.
You must not sell, resell, sublicense, publish, share, distribute or make a test bundle, its questions, answers, audio, images or other proprietary content available to another person as a standalone product, source file, downloadable collection or competing content library. You must not remove copyright or proprietary notices. This restriction does not limit any rights that an identified third-party or open-source licence expressly grants for a particular component.
8. Updates and support
Update access, support duration, response expectations and compatibility coverage are as stated on the product page at the time of purchase. Unless expressly sold as lifetime access, updates or support are not promised indefinitely. Support does not include custom development, third-party configuration, content writing, hosting administration, recovery from customer modifications, or issues outside the supported product.
9. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- checking the published product requirements before purchasing;
- maintaining a secure and compatible WordPress and hosting environment;
- making complete backups before installation or updating;
- protecting account passwords, downloads and license keys;
- testing changes on a staging site where reasonably possible;
- complying with privacy, education, employment and consumer laws applicable to your own website and users;
- obtaining any permissions needed for student or employee data; and
- using only content and media that you have a right to upload or distribute.
10. Prohibited conduct
You must not use our website, products, licensing systems or content to commit unlawful acts; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; bypass activation limits or access controls; attack, scrape or disrupt our systems; distribute malware; share customer accounts or commercial credentials; misrepresent affiliation with us or an official examination body; or resell proprietary test-bundle content without written permission.
11. Refunds
Eligible Pro plugin customers may request a satisfaction refund within 48 hours after the recorded purchase time. After that period, no voluntary satisfaction refund is provided. Pre-created test bundles are not eligible for change-of-mind or satisfaction refunds.
These limits do not exclude remedies that must be provided under applicable law, including where a product is not delivered, is corrupted or unusable as supplied, is the wrong product, is materially different from its advertised characteristics, or is otherwise defective or deficient. 12. Intellectual property and trademarks
Except for rights granted under the GPL or another expressly identified licence, the website, original test-bundle content, documentation, graphics, branding, trademarks and other materials are owned by or licensed to Practice Test Builder and protected by applicable law.
WordPress and WooCommerce are trademarks of their respective owners. IELTS is a registered trademark of its owners, and CELPIP is associated with Paragon Testing Enterprises Inc., a Prometric company. Practice Test Builder is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or approved by WordPress, WooCommerce, the IELTS owners, Paragon Testing Enterprises, Prometric, or any immigration or government authority.
13. Educational purpose and no guaranteed outcome
Our products are independent preparation and practice tools. They are not official examinations, official score reports, immigration advice or guarantees of any test result, admission, employment, visa or immigration outcome. See our Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.
14. Third-party services
Our products may interoperate with WordPress, WooCommerce, Razorpay, Google or other third-party products and services. Those services are controlled by their respective operators and may change independently. Your use of them is subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for a third-party outage, policy change, account decision or service discontinuation outside our reasonable control.
15. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the website, downloads and licensing services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, apply security controls and modify or discontinue non-contractual website features. If a change materially affects an existing paid entitlement, we will provide any remedy required by applicable law.
16. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, products and website services are provided on an “as available” basis. We exclude implied warranties only to the extent they can lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of data, business interruption, examination outcomes or third-party claims arising from use of a product. Where liability can lawfully be limited, our aggregate liability relating to a particular purchase will not exceed the amount paid for that purchase. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot be excluded for fraud, wilful misconduct or other mandatory grounds.
17. Suspension of commercial services
We may suspend access to customer accounts, support, license validation or update services where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, payment reversal, credential sharing, attacks, unlawful conduct or a material breach of these Terms. We will act proportionately and will not restrict rights in GPL-covered code that cannot lawfully be restricted.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer rights and jurisdiction rules that cannot lawfully be excluded, the competent courts in Bathinda, Punjab, India will have jurisdiction. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can attempt to resolve the matter.
19. Grievance handling
Gurwinder Singh is the Grievance Officer. Submit complaints to support@practicetestbuilder.com. We aim to acknowledge consumer grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within one month, subject to their nature and complexity.
20. General provisions
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. We may update these Terms prospectively by posting a revised effective date; material changes will not retroactively remove completed purchase rights. These Terms, the applicable product page, order confirmation and incorporated policies form the agreement for your purchase.
