This Policy applies to digital products purchased directly from practicetestbuilder.com. We sell software downloads and pre-created test bundles; no physical goods are supplied and there is nothing to physically return.
1. Pro plugin 48-hour satisfaction refund
If you purchase the Practice Test Builder Pro plugin and are not satisfied, you may submit a refund request within 48 hours after the purchase time recorded on your order.
To request a refund, email support@practicetestbuilder.com from the email used for the order and include:
- your name and order number;
- the registered checkout email address;
- the reason for the request; and
- any useful details about a technical problem so we can investigate it.
A request is on time if it reaches our support mailbox within the 48-hour period. After 48 hours, we do not provide a voluntary change-of-mind or satisfaction refund for the Pro plugin.
2. Pre-created test bundles
Pre-created test bundles are final-sale digital content and are not eligible for change-of-mind or satisfaction refunds once the order has been completed or download access has been provided.
Please review the product description, included test types, format, compatibility and licence terms before purchasing.
3. Duplicate, failed, corrupted, wrong or misdescribed orders
The limits above do not remove rights and remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Contact us promptly if:
- you were charged more than once for the same order;
- the order was paid but download access was not delivered;
- the supplied file is corrupted or unusable as delivered;
- you received a different product from the one ordered;
- the product is materially different from its advertised characteristics; or
- the product or service is otherwise defective or deficient under applicable law.
We may first verify the order and attempt a prompt re-delivery, replacement, corrected download or reasonable technical solution. If the problem cannot be corrected within a reasonable time, we will provide the refund or other remedy required by applicable law. Duplicate payments confirmed by our payment records will be returned to the original payment method.
4. EU/EEA and UK digital-content rights
Where applicable law provides a cancellation or withdrawal right for digital content, checkout may ask you to expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge that the right may be lost once downloading or digital delivery begins. This does not affect legal remedies for content that is faulty, not supplied or not as described.
5. Refund review and processing
We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify the purchaser, transaction and reported problem. If a refund is approved, we will initiate it to the original payment method through Razorpay. The time for funds to appear is controlled by Razorpay, the relevant bank, card network or payment method and may extend beyond the date on which we initiate the refund.
Refunds do not include currency-conversion differences, bank charges or third-party fees that were not received by us, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
6. Effect of a Pro plugin refund
When a Pro plugin refund is issued, the associated commercial license key, hosted update access, secure-download entitlement and support access may be revoked. This does not purport to remove any software-code rights already granted under the GPL-2.0-or-later licence.
7. Abuse and payment disputes
We may decline a voluntary refund where the request is fraudulent, the purchase was not made directly from our website, the requester cannot reasonably verify the order, or there is evidence of repeated abuse. This does not affect mandatory rights. Please contact us before initiating a payment dispute so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.
